SDPG Academy round 3 preview

The academy thunders into Cheshire and the Oulton Park circuit for round 3 of the SDPG Academy

Superbikes:

After a sintilating first two rounds it’s Brett that leads the way in the championship just 2 points ahead of SuperTed. 14 points off the top spot is Dylan who was incredible over one lap at Brands Hatch Indy but couldn’t convert it in the races. Is his luck going to change here at Oulton Park? Kristian is only 4 points off the top 3 and has done a great job upto now. How will he go at Oulton Park? Is it Charlie’s time in the pathway class? Charlie is a very talented rider but his efforts have been overshadowed in the pathway class by Kristian who has been in sintalating form. Here at Oulton Park two resevre riders join the grid and they will be Shay for the Edenflaw BMW Motorrad team and Kalan for the HPR team. We wish those lads the very best. This round see Joe step up to Superbike with MOLTED SFB Electrical Yamaha squad. Good luck to Joe in his debut round on the Superbike

Supersport:

In Supersport we look at the top 3 in the championship as there is 13 points covering the Kalan in P1, Conner in P2 and Shay in P3. Kalan and Shay are in the rebranded MLD Motorsport team which is called KRP Racing. That team is also keeping Neil as a third rider. Jack E was revaltion at Brands Hatch on the MV Augusta at a track that favoured the MV. Jack managed to grab a P3 in the feature race after leading it for a good number of laps. Liam on the APR Honda had a strong showing also at Brands. He currently lies P4 in the standings only 8 points off the top 3. Logan also had a great showing down in Kent. He did manage to lead the feature race for a short while. He’s had a great start to the season and I’m sure he’L be looking to build on that this weekend.

SDPG Ducati Monster 1200 Cup:

Coming into round 3 there’s a tie at the top with Conner and Kristian locked on 45pts after both riders have taken a win these season. Who will have the advantage leaving Oulton Park. Adam had a great outing at Brands Hatch. He managed to be on the front row in qualifying and backed it up in the race with a P3. Can he manage to get on the top step in round 3. A good showing from Joe at the last round as he was in the front group for much of the race at round 2. With a step up to Superbikes for the remainder of the season will the extra track time benefit him in the Ducatis

The scene is set for a mega round 3
